JNF UK hosted a special event to raise vital funds for Simcha Layeled, an organisation which supports physically-disabled children and their families in Israel, providing them with opportunities that enhance their lives for the better.
Israeli actress and comedian Shani Cohen was the host of this unforgettable evening and two of Israel’s popular performers Roy Bar-Nathan and Elai Botner entertained guests who came to support the Israeli charity.
A highlight of the event was a moving speech given by Former Education Minister Rabbi Shai Piron and his son, Naor Piron. Naor, who was adopted from a young age and suffers with severe disabilities, began receiving help from Simcha Layeled when he was just six years old and his journey is remarkable. He is now aged 20, the same age as the charity and despite his physical problems, he has joined the Israeli army. None of this would have been possible without Simcha Layeled’s support. He is just one of the hundreds of children whose lives have transformed thanks to Simcha Layeled.
JNF UK is very proud to be supporting this important organisation that is making such a meaningful difference.
