Join us for a special Voices from Israel event featuring Elad Simchayoff, award-winning journalist with over two decades of experience in broadcast journalism. Over the years, Elad has taken on numerous high-profile roles, from anchoring special broadcasts to serving as Channel 12’s chief financial correspondent. In 2013, he relocated to London, where he has been the channel’s European correspondent ever since. From covering historic global events to conducting headline-making interviews, Elad’s reporting has earned him widespread recognition and credibility.
In 2021, Elad founded “One a Day”, a daily news podcast that has since become Israel’s top-ranked podcast. In 2024, he was awarded the prestigious B’nai B’rith Award for Excellence in Journalism for his exceptional coverage of the rise in antisemitism following the October 7th attacks.
In this talk, Elad will share his firsthand experience as an Israeli correspondent in London and how his role shifted following October 7th. He will provide an insight into the changing media landscape and the evolving global view of Israel.
