This was Kibbutz Sufa just a few months ago. The photo shows our volunteers helping to reinvigorate the kibbutz in order to attract more young people to live there. Fast forward three months and the whole community has been torn apart.
Whist we cannot repair the trauma that the residents have suffered, we can pledge our continued support to help them in whichever way we can. The first step in this process is providing immediate emergency funding to as many border communities as we can.
We have already supported 20 of the communities that were hit hardest including Kibbutzim Re’im, Kfar Aza and Nir Oz. As we have done for decades, we will focus our efforts on rebuilding the destroyed communities and making the Negev flourish.
