HEAR FROM SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR AND UNSUNG HERO
THE EVENT HAS ALREADY TAKEN PLACE.
On October 7th, as soon as he heard what was happening, Nimrod Palmach travelled alone from his home in Jerusalem to the South of Israel to protect his brothers and sisters who were being attacked. In an act of defiance and utmost bravery, Nimrod saved many lives. In this exclusive Interview, Nimrod will give his first-hand account of October 7th, as well as discuss his work as an Israeli social entrepreneur, activist and educator.
Nimrod lives in Har Adar and is the father of two children. He holds a master’s degree in diplomacy and security from Tel Aviv University and is also a Combat Officer in the IDF Reserves.
Instrumental in the growth and development of the Gaza border communities, Nimrod has founded and managed several JNF UK supported leadership programmes, including those situated on Kibbutzim Nahal Oz and Sufa, located next to the Gaza border. Tragically both these communities were devastated during the recent attacks.
Currently Nimrod is the CEO of Israel-Is, an organisation which aims to connect young Israelis and their peers worldwide to create a positive conversation about Israel and Israeli society globally.
